Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Scientific Assistant (Physics) and Senior Preservation Assistant. The details regarding the recruitment are as follows:-

Name of the post and No. of Vacancies:

1. Senior Scientific Assistant (Physics): 1 post (Unreserved).
2. Senior Preservation Assistant: 1 post (ST).

Pay Scale: The pay scale for post at Sr. no. 1 is PB-2 Rs.9300-34800/- with Grade pay of Rs.4200/-. The pay scale is PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade pay of Rs.2800/-.

Educational Qualification: The educational qualifications for the both the post are as follows:-

1. The candidates applying for the above post at Sr. no. 1 should have a Masters degree in Physics/Biophysics/Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at B.Sc level from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. The candidates applying for the above post at Sr. no. 2 should have a B.Sc degree in Botany from a recognized University.

Age Limit: The age limit for the candidates applying for post at Sr.  no. 1 should not exceed 30 years and for post at Sr. no. 2 the age limit should not exceed 27 years.
